Social
Workers at The Department of Social Services
often seek G.O.L.D.'s help to provide EXTRA's
for all of Worcester County's children in Foster
Care. G.O.L.D. has a special fund set
aside and we are happy to be able to provide a a
variety of help for local foster children.
"Life Books" are photo albums and
scrapbooks which help adopted and foster
children document their life stories and family
connections. These memory books help
children deal with anxiety and adjustment issues
and to process feelings of uncertainty about the
future.
*G.O.L.D. continues to work with Social
Workers, Case Managers and community sponsors to
support the Foster Care Fund.
